What is an Exercise Phsyiologist?

Accredited Exercise Physiologists (AEPs) are high level health professionals who design, deliver and evaluate safe and effective exercise for a wide range of people. AEPs undergo an extensive 4 year University degree with multiple periods of practical, hands on, experience throughout. This ensures that they are equipped with the knowledge, skills and competencies to provide exercise interventions for people with acute, sub-acute or chronic medical conditions, injuries or disabilities. All of these people fall into a specific category in which exercise has been proven to improve their quality of life.

When should you see an Exercise Physiologist?

If you fall into any of the categories listed above, or below, you should consider booking an appointment with an Exercise Physiologist. Additionally, if you’re after general fitness or strength work and feel more comfortable with a highly educated coach, an Exercise Physiologist might be for you.
